
Dalvin James Cook (born August 10, 1995) is a working back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He graduated from Florida State University as the varsity’s all-time leading rusher. The Vikings chose Cook in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Cook went to Miami Central High School, where he met Devonta Freeman, a former Seminole operating again.

Cook didn’t sign up for the football group till his sophomore year, feeling he had little chance of succeeding as a replacement for senior operating back Devonta Freeman, who led Central to a Class 6A state championship in 2010.
