A resurfaced video from the primary season of “American Idol” in 2002 has Twitter customers doing a double take at a blond, energetic hopeful who very much resembles Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
However, the lady in the video — which has 1.2 million views and more than 37,900 likes since it was once posted on Sunday — claims her name is Stefanie Sugarman, then 23.
Reps for Taylor Greene showed to The Post that the video is not of the Congresswoman.
“It’s so blatantly obvious that this is every other Blue Anon conspiracy theory,” they added.
In the video, Sugarman says she is from Alta Loma, California, despite Greene hailing from the Peach State.
“My biggest concern at the moment is telling work how I’m going to miss Monday. Calling in ill. Sorry, boss!” the aspiring idol says to the digital camera in between some Britney Spears-inspired dance moves in entrance of fellow contestants.
Once in entrance of judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, Sugarman states she works in “advertising for cheese. I promote provolone and mozzarella,” before launching into a chaotic version of “Knockin’ Da Boots” by H-Town.
All 3 judges snicker all the way through her animated efficiency, however Abdul summed things up through telling Sugarman she’s no longer the next American Idol.
“You woke us up, that’s for sure,” the “Straight Up” songstress summed up Sugarman’s effort.
“Good morning,” the smiley contestant responded.
Sugarman doesn’t take the rejection well and pleads to “sing about cheese,” before the judges dismiss her, best to return to the audition area, claiming she didn’t obtain a verdict.
“Do you may have a twin?” Cowell asks as she walks again into the room.
The judges remind her that she’s “not good enough” for a golden ticket to Hollywood, to which Sugarman replies, “Oh, hell no.”
It’s unclear if the woman in the video’s name really is Stefanie Sugarman or Taylor Greene has an almost similar doppelganger.
According to TMZ, a woman named Stefanie Sugarman does exist with the same Alta Loma and San Bernardino-area roots and birthday that the contestant shared with “Idol” manufacturers.
Sugarman instructed the display that she was once born in 1979 whereas Greene, who was once born in Georgia in 1974, is 5 years her senior.
On Sunday, social media went wild speculating about the video, calling Sugarman’s tryout “embarrassing.”
