In 2008 1,one hundred pound girl Mayra Rosales (31) advised the police officers she killed her her two-year-old nephew, Eliseo Jr. via unintentionally rolling over on him while babysitting him. But that wasn’t the reality. Tonight TLC is airing a documentary called Half-Ton Killer that explores this compelling case.
In the trailer beneath Mayra insists “I must be punished, I did improper,” whilst Nancy Grace wonders why she’s not in prison, and any person else ponders whether it is even possible to execute a person of Mayra’s measurement via lethal injection.
What’s really going on here? Here’s a little background data:
Just sooner than March 2008, when the horrific event happened, Mayra and her husband Bernie moved in with Mayra’s sister Jaime, who had 4 kids. According to Mayra, she felt like more a mom to the children than Jaime, and used to be regularly left babysitting them.
Mayra recounted to the UK’s Reveal magazine what happened the day Eliseo Jr. died:
“Jaime was once giving my nephew breakfast and he didn’t want to devour. I instructed her if he was crying he wasn’t going to consume, however she got mad, got a brush and hit him on his arms, legs and head which left a bump. Afterwards, she got his Winnie the Pooh blanket, coated him up and put him to mattress. Then she went out, leaving me with the children.”
Later that day Eliseo began having breathing issues, so Mayra known as 911. The clinic wouldn’t let someone see Eliseo till they knew who had hurt the child, and in accordance to Mayra, Jaime begged her to say it used to be her. So she made up a story about rolling on most sensible of Eliseo, and falling on him with her hand.
