Our hearts are heavy as we report the tragic lack of a young guy full of promise, Jaylen J. Charron, who was once tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in northern Oneida County, New York.
The Incident That Changed Lives
The fatal accident occurred on October 12, 2023, at approximately 5:17 p.m. State Police in Remsen answered to a three-vehicle crash on the intersection of State Route 12 and Hinman Road in the city of Trenton.
A 2013 Subaru Crosstrek, operated by means of Roberta J. Shields, age 61, from Remsen, NY, used to be turning left onto Hinman Road from State Route 12. Unfortunately, she failed to watch a 2013 Yamaha motorcycle, piloted by means of Jaylen, which was touring southbound on State Route 12. The affect of the crash led to the Subaru to spin and strike a 2018 Chevrolet pickup truck, which used to be stopped on the intersection1.
Shields and two female passengers were all transported to St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center for minor injuries. The operator of the pickup truck, Joshua A. Buck, age 35, from Remsen, and a 32-year-old passenger were not injured in the crash1.
Tragically, Jaylen, only 21 years outdated, from Herkimer, NY, was once pronounced deceased on the scene.
